Subject: Assignment brief: Eilean Draoch Livestock Investigation

Dear Team,

This message is to confirm your upcoming assignment on the Scottish island of Eilean Draoch as part of CD Productions’ ongoing documentary project examining reported cases of alien abduction.

You have been selected to investigate a series of incidents involving cattle mutilation and missing livestock. Your responsibilities on-site will include:

- Conducting forensic examinations of affected sites and remains

- Carrying out interviews with local residents, farmers, and relevant authorities

- Scouting key locations for filming and contextual footage

- Capturing initial photographic documentation of evidence and surroundings

As with all field assignments, daily uploads to the company cloud server are expected. Please ensure all data is properly logged, backed up, and categorized for production use.

Travel arrangements are as follows:

- Our two US-based team members will depart from JFK to Gatwick Airport 4/24/26

- Upon arrival, you will meet with your UK-based colleague

- The full team will then travel together via connecting flight to Edinburgh 24/4/26

- A rental vehicle (manual, no option i'm afraid) will be provided for overland travel to the coastal departure

point

- Passage on the weekly ferry to Eilean Draoch has been secured for the 26th at 5:30am. Don’t miss it.

- You’ll have a day to yourselves on the 25th either in Edinburgh or Oban or in between.

Further logistical details, including accommodation and emergency contacts, will be provided in your field packet prior to departure.  This assignment may involve remote conditions and limited infrastructure, so prepare accordingly.  Maintain professional conduct at all times and be mindful of local sensitivities when conducting interviews.

Please confirm receipt of this briefing and direct any immediate questions to production coordination.

I’ve attached the local tourist information boards pamphlet. It’s about all I could find, but I guess thats why you’re the researchers!

I love that they call a weekly ferry “regular”.

Kind Regards,

Rowan
